A Few Words...

The involvement of local communities in the tourism called ‘Eco-tourism’. The society is an autonomous and independent body, with its main aim being to preserve and protect the natural, historical and cultural heritage of Beraberi Dist (n) 24 parganas. P.S. Ashoknagar. This concept of ‘community based eco-tourism’ would go a long way in providing better income generation options to the rural people. We are trying to build environmental and cultural awareness and respect towards the people. Provide positive experiences for both visitors and hosts. Provide financial benefits and empowerment for local people, basically our focuses on local cultures, wilderness adventures, volunteering, personal growth and learning new ways to live on our vulnerable planet. Saving the environment around you and preserving the natural luxuries and forest life, that's what eco-tourism is all about. Eco Lodges give you an exotic and natural view of several flora and fauna while feeling yourself to be in the lap of nature.

How to Reach

Zooming straight ahead after you are out of the Netaji Subhas Ch. Bose Airport, touching the National highway towards Barasat is how we start our journey towards ‘NOTNI’, the village under Beraberi Dist (n) 24 parganas. P.S. Ashoknagar. Crossing Barasat Duk Banglow more approximately 25kms is our destination soon after we cross Zeerut Power Station we reach ‘Gadamara Haat, one of the largest wholesale vegetable market of West Bengal. A right village road (pucca) leading from Gadamara haat (3kms) taken us straight to ‘Notni’.

Sight Seeing

A fishing point is constructed over the pond. Where people can cross a wooden bridge and reach at that point and in the serenity of the place can enjoy angling.

The entire property is surrounding by bougainvilleas of different colours. Mango trees of different varieties of Bengal (approx 90-100) spread it. Other trees like Jackfruit, Blackberry, Guava, Coconut, Sal, Shegun, Lemon, Palm etc cover the entire property.

Two temples in this property by specially designing terracotta tiles themselves and finally getting it executed by the artist of Bishnupur, which is famous for it old, medieval terracotta temples.

A Chapel is constructed with stained glass panel and a painting (reproduction) by Perugino titled ‘The handing over of keys).
